Religious Persecution
In NK, you are not allowed to express your faith freely. Despite virtually no freedom of religion in NK, the government has four “show” churches to demonstrate to tourists that there is freedom of religion in the country. N. Koreans must receive permission to attend these churches and the waiting list is very long. Please pray for:
■ Kim Jong Il would allow N. Koreans to practice religions other than “Kimilsungism.”
■ Safety and courage for those believers who practice their faith in secret.
■ Believers will teach their faith to their children.
■ Against the lies and deception being presented to N. Koreans, and outside information will become increasingly available through radio, video, and literature.
■ Supernatural experiences to occur to all classes of N. Koreans in the core, wavering, and hostile caste groups.
