As you know, this month we are focusing on North Koreans — and their continued struggle for freedom in their own country. Their situation is unreal — to find out more click HERE.
North Koreans are the most oppressed people in the world with almost no freedom of speech, assembly, worship, or movement. Between 2-3 million people have starved to death in the last twelve years due to Kim Jong Il’s policies. Another 200,000 languish in political prisoner camps; more political prisoners than any other nation in the world.
North Korea’s recent missile launch is a deliberate violation of international law and threatens to weaken the region.
That’s why we need YOU to be part of this campaign! This campaign will help bring awareness to the situation in North Korea.
Ask your Representative to sign the North Korea Sanctions and Diplomatic Nonrecognition Act of 2009.
Together we can help bring an end to the suffering to North Koreans — won’t you help?
